CANDOANY.COM · OUR SHARED SPACE

Terms of Service

A considered space.
Shared responsibilities.

Effective November 7, 2026 · Version 2026-11-07

These terms explain your rights and responsibilities when using candoany’s website, creative tools, community, persistent media player, and desktop application. Read them together with our Privacy Policy. Market transactions also have their own Market terms.

1. Using candoany

These terms are between you and the operator of candoany at candoany.com (“candoany,” “we,” or “us”). candoany provides a space for art, writing, conversation, creative work, and independent shops. By using candoany, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must meet the minimum age and legal-capacity requirements that apply where you live and those of any service you connect. If you are below the age of legal majority, use candoany only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. You must have authority to act for any business or other person you represent. Transactions require the capacity to enter the relevant purchase and payment agreements.

2. Your account

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in methods, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. You are responsible for your activity and the audience you choose when sharing. candoany’s Google, Apple, and ChatGPT sign-in options create separate accounts; matching email addresses do not automatically combine them.

Signing in establishes your candoany account. It does not automatically connect your YouTube or music library, publish your private records, or authorize a purchase. Optional provider connections and actions have their own permission choices.

3. Content and community conduct

You retain your rights in content you create. Submit or share material only when you have the necessary rights and permissions, including permission to share another person’s personal information, likeness, voice, or work. Public content can be seen and copied by others; review privacy and audience settings before publishing.

You give candoany a non-exclusive license to store, process, format, and display the content you submit only as needed to operate the features you choose and honor your sharing instructions. This permission does not transfer ownership. Deletion ends future use of the removed content for those features, subject to necessary legal or security retention and copies that other people already lawfully received. Connecting a Google account does not grant a license to use its private data for unrelated purposes.

Do not use candoany for unlawful content, fraud, impersonation, harassment, exploitation, infringement, malicious software, unauthorized access, or interference with other users or connected services. Do not evade access controls, payment requirements, or media rights restrictions. Use the report controls on content to raise safety or rights concerns.

For calls, live video, and broadcasts, tell participants about the intended audience and obtain any permissions required to capture, record, or share them. AI-generated responses and creative suggestions can be incomplete or inaccurate; review them before relying on or publishing them. AI mentors are not a substitute for qualified professional advice or emergency assistance.

4. Google and YouTube

candoany uses YouTube API Services. By using candoany’s YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of information is explained in the Google Privacy Policy.

Public YouTube search and embedded playback are available without connecting your private YouTube account. Connecting an account is optional and uses Google’s own authorization process. The initial read permission lets candoany display your channel identity, playlists and their contents, subscriptions, and liked videos. candoany does not receive your Google password.

Enabling account controls is a separate choice. It allows the actions you explicitly request: like or unlike a video, create a private playlist, add or remove playlist items, and subscribe or unsubscribe from a channel. Google’s permission description covers broader editing and deletion capabilities; candoany offers only the controls described in the player and the YouTube connection guide.

Use only a YouTube account you are authorized to control. Connecting it does not grant ownership of YouTube content, permission to download or redistribute it, a YouTube Premium subscription, or access to features YouTube does not make available to candoany. Video availability, advertisements, account eligibility, and service restrictions remain subject to YouTube’s rules. candoany is an independent service and is not endorsed by Google or YouTube.

5. Privacy and connected-account permissions

The candoany Privacy Policy explains the information accessed, collected, stored, used, and shared for each feature. Review it before connecting an account. Google and YouTube information is used for the account and player features you authorize. Private YouTube library responses and connection credentials are not automatically posted to feeds or sent to AI mentors.

candoany stores encrypted YouTube connection tokens and associated permission, expiry, and channel information to maintain the connection. Library lists are fetched on request rather than stored as a separate server-side library. Disconnect in the YouTube account panel removes candoany’s retained connection information and attempts to revoke Google access. You can also revoke permission in Google account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access; Disconnect also clears the retained candoany connection. It does not reverse changes you already made on YouTube.

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train general-purpose AI models. Its use and any transfer must comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. A new use of Google data beyond the permissions and purposes disclosed to you requires appropriate notice and your consent before that use begins.

6. Other connected services and desktop software

Spotify, Apple Music, Google, Apple, ChatGPT, payment providers, and other external services have their own terms, privacy policies, subscriptions, and availability rules. Connecting or opening one does not make candoany its operator or guarantee continued access. candoany does not bypass subscription, digital-rights, or provider approval requirements.

Desktop software loads candoany’s live website and may provide separate provider panes. Read the release notices and installation guidance on the desktop download page. Preview limitations, operating-system support, signing, and update behavior are described there. Keep copies of important work and use supported updates.

7. Market purchases, fees, and disputes

The independent seller identified on a listing and order sells the goods or content. Stripe processes payments under its agreements. The Market terms and payment responsibilities, accepted order terms, seller disclosures, and applicable law govern purchases, seller fees, candoany’s disclosed 1% seller commission, refunds, and payment disputes.

candoany does not promise to fund an independent seller’s processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, or dispute costs. This does not remove obligations that law or a payment agreement assigns to candoany, and does not limit a buyer’s mandatory refund or dispute rights. These general terms do not replace an existing order’s accepted terms or impose a new charge on it.

8. Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a useful service, but availability and results can vary. To the extent permitted by law, candoany is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or any particular commercial, creative, or personal result. Users and independent providers remain responsible for their own content, goods, and services.

To the extent permitted by law, candoany and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any responsibility or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory rights under the law applicable to you continue to apply.

9. Changes and ending use

You may stop using candoany and disconnect optional services at any time. Account center and individual feature controls provide the available export, privacy, and deletion options. Signing out alone does not delete stored contributions or records; the Privacy Policy explains the distinctions.

candoany may restrict content or access to respond to abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or breaches of these terms. Where appropriate and permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Removing a provider connection does not cancel a separate subscription or resolve outstanding Market orders.

Changes to these terms will be published with an updated effective date. We will provide notice or seek renewed agreement where required for material changes. Completed Market orders retain their accepted terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive access to remedies required by law.

10. Questions and help

For questions or complaints about candoany’s Google or YouTube connection, its privacy practices, or these terms, use the candoany developer contact address Google displays for candoany.com during authorization. The YouTube connection guide explains connection and permission controls; Privacy explains data handling and removal.

For a purchase, contact the seller through your order’s Message seller or Request a return controls and review Market help. Use Account center for your account, privacy, sessions, and retained-record controls.
